The launching of four EU-funded regional projects at AASTMT Smart Village Campus

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) hosted the launch of 4 regional projects funded by the European Union to support business incubators of small and medium enterprises, on Thursday 5- 5- 2021, at AASTMT Smart Village Campus, and through the online platform "Zoom application", as to maximize the participation of the project partners From various countries of the European Union and the Mediterranean Sea, where the projects aim to establish and develop business incubators, and to provide technical and financial support to entrepreneurs, and emerging small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as to support the innovation and advancement of business support organizations, and the development of services, especially for SMEs.
The launching of four EU-funded regional projects was held with the participation of H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President, H.E Dr. Rania A. Al-Mashat - Minister of International Cooperation of the Arab Republic of Egypt, H.E Dr. Nevin Jameh - Minister of Trade and Industry of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and H.E Ambassador Raouf Saad - Head of the National Office for the implementation of Egypt and European Union Partnership, H.E Mr. Christian Berger - European Union Ambassador, and H.E Mr. Ahmed Al-Wakeel - President of the Association of the Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASCAME), H.E Mr. Tariq Tawfiq - First Vice President of the Union of Euro-Mediterranean Industries Federations, in addition to the participation of project partners from 42 specialized business federations, in addition to more than 300 participants from leaders of business incubators and specialized Euro-Mediterranean organizations.
