The "Second International Logistics Camp 2022" at AASTMT Alamein City Campus

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) College of International Transport and Logistics in Alamein City Campus in cooperation with the University of Valladolid in Spain organized the activities of the second International Logistics Camp “ILC 2022”, under the title: “Leadership in Global Supply Chains”, during the period from 1 - 3 August 2022.
“ILC 2022” Camp opening ceremony was held on Monday 1- 8- 2022, in the presence of H.E Major General Dr. Bahaa Zeidan - Chairman of the Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement, Medical Supply and Management of Medical Technology, H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President, H.E Prof. Dr. Sherine Abbas Helmy - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pharco, H.E Eng. Tarek Zagloul - CEO of Egypt and Sudan Group (CGM-CMA), H.E Mr. Arora Ankush - CEO of Mansour Automotive Company, and H.E Dr. Ashraf Abdel Wahab - Director of Digital Transformation For the government sector - SABB Company, and Prof. Dr. Islam Al-Naqib - Dean of AASTMT Alamein Campus College of International Transport and Logistics.
It is worth to mention that the second camp activities was held after the great success that has been achieved during the first camp that was held in cooperation with the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany, and entitled Smart and Sustainable Logistics 2021. In this regard, the activities of the second camp will be held with the participation of Mr. Sergio Castano and Mrs. Anna Lagora, specialists in global supply chains, in addition to a number of experts in the field of logistics and maritime transport, economic experts from Egypt and France, and a number of board chairmen of international companies working in Egypt to present their companies experiences and success stories over the past years as to be the leaders and decision makers in light of facing the challenges of the global supply chains.
