As a continuation of the Job Day organized by the College of Language and Communication at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) – Smart Village Campus, in collaboration with A Group Holding for Media, Advertising and Publicity, owner of Al Nahar Network, the first phase of field training for CLC graduates has officially begun at Al Nahar Network.
The training comes as part of the cooperation protocol between the two parties, which aims to prepare graduates for the labor market and provide outstanding participants with potential employment opportunities within the Group’s institutions.
The field training builds on the specialized workshops delivered during the Job Day, which introduced graduates to the latest professional practices in media, production, content creation, and digital media. Through this next phase, graduates move from professional preparation to hands-on application and direct exposure to a real media working environment.
The program began with an orientation session during which Al Nahar Network representatives introduced the graduates to the nature of work within the network, the training plan, the different departments they will join, and the tasks they will undertake throughout the program, ensuring maximum practical benefit from the training experience.
The graduates also met with a number of Al Nahar Network executives, including Mr. Amr El Kahky, Head of Digital Assets, Distribution and Digital Transformation Strategy at Al Nahar Network, who welcomed the trainees and emphasized the Group’s commitment to providing a professional training environment that helps develop their skills and equips them with the practical experience required by the media industry. Outstanding trainees will be considered for opportunities to join the Group’s professional workforce.
The graduates were accompanied by Prof. Abeer Ezzi, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Heba Badr, Vice Dean for Training and Community Service, reflecting the College’s commitment to closely following the implementation of the training program and strengthening its partnerships with media institutions to enhance professional development and employment opportunities for its graduates.
The program represents one of the key outcomes of the cooperation protocol between AASTMT and A Group Holding for Media, Advertising and Publicity, owner of Al Nahar Network. The partnership seeks to establish a sustainable pathway connecting academic education, professional training, and employment, in line with the evolving needs of the media labor market and with the goal of preparing qualified and competitive media professionals.
