The Third International Scientific Forum of the College of Language and Communication—Smart Village

The third scientific forum of the College of Language and Communication at the Smart Village Branch of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar, President of the Academy, and chaired by Prof. Dr. Hanan Youssef, Dean of the Faculty, under the title New Media and Youth Empowerment: Digital Citizenship in the Age of Artificial Intelligence, from October 14 to October 16, 2024. The forum was attended by more than 100 researchers and experts in various media, languages, artificial intelligence, and all related sciences from more than 25 countries. The forum included a variety of scientific sessions, discussions, and workshops conducted by scientists and researchers from all over the world, in addition to representatives of many international organizations, AI industry leaders, policymakers, and practitioners in the fields of new media, youth, AI, and digital citizenship. Through this forum, students were exposed to a unique elite of academics and industry experts in the fields of media, languages, and AI, as they attended a group of events and workshops closely related to youth empowerment and digital citizenship.
