On Monday, October 18, 2022, the branch of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport at the Smart Village celebrated its golden jubilee. The celebration was attended by the esteemed Dr. Ismail Abdelghafar, the President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport, along with a distinguished gathering of diplomats, deans, faculty members, and successful partners in establishing the branch.
During the celebration, students from the College of Language and Media performed a theatrical show that narrated the success story of establishing the Smart Village branch. Additionally, talented students showcased their performances, followed by honoring the esteemed president of the academy who, in turn, honored the founding deans of the branch, outstanding faculty members, and successful partners from outside the Arab Academy.
Finally, the students expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the esteemed Dr. Ismail Abdelghafar, the founding president of the academy and the supporter of the Smart Village branch, by presenting him with a commemorative gift. He expressed,
"This achievement and great success we have reached would not have been possible without the tremendous efforts exerted by the Arab Academy family. I feel proud to belong to them, and I extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to them."
