"Engineering Disciplines – Discussing Roles in Medium & Large Scale Projects" Seminar

The field of construction and contracting is one of the fields that depends on the work of a large group of engineers from different specializations in carrying out huge projects. The field of construction is currently one of the fields that attracts a large number of engineering students, especially fresh graduates. The College of Engineering and Technology believes that it is a prime duty to transfer practical experiences and all what is new in the labor market to its students. The Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering headed by Prof. Maha Ahmed Sharkas, in cooperation with the Department of Electrical and Control Engineering, headed by Prof. Walid Ahmed Maher Ghoneim and under the auspices of Prof. Akram Suleiman Al-Salami, Dean of the College of Engineering and Technology, held seminar for all students of the College of Engineering entitled “Engineering Disciplines – Discussing Roles in Medium & Large Scale Projects”, which was delivered by Eng. Noah Mohamed- MEP Construction manager in REDCON Construction. Engineer Noah gave an extensive explanation of how to manage projects and the role of the various engineering departments in contributing to building mega projects, as well as the skills required for engineers wishing to work in them and the various engineering departments within construction companies.
The Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering and the Department of Electrical and Control Engineering would like to thank Engineer Noah for this distinguished symposium and sincerity in transferring his knowledge and experience to all students, wishing him continued success and progress.
