On 04/30/2018, a scientific symposium was held under the supervision of Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME) entitled "A Decision Support System (DSS) for Energy Efficient Ship Operation “based on Artificial Neural Network Methodology” A member of the faculty at the Maritime Transport College, the meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abbas Kotb, Dr. Mohamed El-Shayeb, Eng. Noor Maree, and a number of students of the department.
