Site Visit to New Abu-Qir Power Station (4-Nov-21)

A site visit to the 1300MW New Abu-Qir Power Station has been organized by Faculty of Maritime Transport for the students of Electrical Machines course. The visit included a seminar presentation about the generation power system and the associated the transmission system. In addition, the entire water desalination process was explained which makes the students aware of the importance of water resources and how to preserve them from pollution. The tour inside the station was supervised by specialized engineers (station staff) and AASTMT staff members Dr. Rania Assem and Dr. Iman.
