The College of Engineering and Technology, Heliopolis Branch, extends its sincere congratulations to His Excellency Professor Dr. Ismail Abdelghaffar Ismail Farag, on extending his term of presidency to the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport until the year 2030.
Being declared by the Arab Ministers of Transportation, and the League of Arab States’ Ambassadors, during the Academy’s General Assembly meeting of September 2025, this renewed mandate stands as a testament to Professor Dr. Abdelghaffar’s distinguished record of academic and institutional achievements.
Not only did Professor Dr. Abdelghaffar realize quantitative advancements in his previous terms – as exemplified by the significant expansion of AASTMT branches and colleges, as well as the remarkable increase in recruitment rates; but also he has constantly demonstrated profound commitment to academic excellence, international partnerships, and exemplary social responsibility as a leading figure to this regional organization.
