The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology – Abu Qir Main Campus, organized a technical training visit on 20/4/2026 for final-year students to the Geberit Information Center in Sheikh Zayed. This initiative reflects the department’s commitment to providing a hands-on educational experience that goes beyond the classroom.
During the visit, students were introduced to the latest drainage and sanitary engineering systems and gained direct insight into Geberit Sovent, Geberit Pluvia, and HDPE technologies in an environment that closely simulates real industrial conditions.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity for deeper understanding of engineering applications and direct interaction with industry expertise, enhancing students’ readiness and bringing them one step closer to the job market
