The Marine and Offshore Engineering Department at the College of Engineering and Technology, Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, organized and hosted the third edition of the first-of-its-kind competition:
"ROBO PIRATES"
Students from the department participated alongside students from other departments within the College of Engineering and Technology—Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Computer Engineering—in addition to students from the College of Computing and Information Technology, as well as distinguished participants from the Academy’s International School and Alexandria STEM School for Gifted Students. The College of Language and Media also took part in covering the event.
The competition was covered by DMC Channel, in coordination with the Center for Innovative Marketing and Media.
The event was held at the Academy’s swimming pool sports facility under the supervision of the Deanship of Student Affairs, on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at the AASTMT Abu Qir campus, with 9 participating teams comprising 120 students.
