In line with the Headquarter Campus’s ongoing commitment to fostering innovation and empowering youth in the field of sustainable energy, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology — in collaboration with the Academy’s Research and Innovation Center and Organic Egypt Foundation, and with the participation of the Department of Electrical Engineering & Control and the Department of Mechanical Engineering — hosted a technical workshop for undergraduate students on November 9, 2025, on solar energy and electric mobility under the title:
“Technical Workshop on Photovoltaics and E-Mobility in Egypt: Renewable Energy for a Brighter Future.”
The event drew a large number of faculty members and students from diverse disciplines, reflecting growing interest in sustainable energy and green technologies.
This initiative was organized in partnership with Organic Egypt Foundation, bbw International, and the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs for Energy and Development, featuring a distinguished panel of Egyptian and German experts in solar energy and electric mobility.
The workshop included rich scientific discussions on the future of renewable energy, with the following expert presentations:
⚡️ “Innovative Solutions and Services of Photovoltaics for Private, Business, and Solar Park”
— Mr. Jörg Marius Ebel, President of the German Solar Association, Vice President Corporate Affairs at IBC Solar, and Board Member of the Global Solar Council & Solar Power Europe
⚡️ “Solar Energy in Germany and Bavarian Specialties”
— Mr. Bernd Kerscher, Director of Sunhouse Association, Germany
⚡️ “Battery Energy Storage Systems: Insights, Technologies & Opportunities”
