The following table shows thecorresponding codes and values: (Incomplete Credit):- A course for which the head of the department agreesto postpone the end of the semester exam for thestudent due to a coercion or excuse accepted by thehead of the department and upon recom-mendation from the lecturer, provided that the student hasattained 36 points (60%) of the grades of quarterlywork. The student's score is incomplete, which allows thestudent to take the final exam in this course later than the first week of class. In the course that spans two semesters, students endup receiving one grade for their performance in thiscourse. (Semester Average):- ‏ Is obtained by the student at the end of the semester, and is calculated by adding the points that the studentreceived in the courses he studied in this semester, and thendivided them by the total number of hours accredited,in which the student signed up for that semester, without the subjects in which he dropped out during thesemester. - ‎Grading Point Average‏:- is the rate obtained by adding the points that the student received in all the courses he studied up to the time of calculating this rate, and dividing it by the total of the approved hours that the student recorded until that time.. to determine the student's position in terms of the academic burden, continuation of the study, and academic monitoring. ‏-Academic Status‎ :- Academic status is the level of student achievement measured by the student’s accumulated rate. -Academic monitoring (Under academic guidance) :- ‏This means that the student was placed on the guidance list because of the low accumulated rate below the limits specified in this regulation (less than 2). This situation requires additional efforts on the part of the student to raise his/her rate so that he/she may exit the guidance list. - ‏Restricted Registration‎ :- ‏means restricting the freedom of the student to determine his or her quarterly academic burden and to choose the courses in which he or she registers; The student is subject to the stay when ‎ rate falls (less than 2) or in cases where the burden is reduced in favor of the student. -Deletion, addition and withdrawal:- The student is allowed to add, delete, or withdraw from any course until the end of the second week of the semester, in which case he can recover the course fees. He is also allowed to withdraw from any course in which he has previously registered until the results of the twelfth week of the study are announced. The deletion, addition, and withdrawal are to be performed with the advice of the counselor. -Retaking:- A student may not improve his/her school curriculum if he/she has completed more than one full academic year (two semesters) - If the student returns a course for the purpose of improvement, he/she will receive the highest grades he/she has ever received. - If a student fails a course, whether compulsory or elective, the failure results shall be recorded in the student’s permanent record and shall be calculated at the quarterly and cumulative rate. The student must re-study the course in which he fails. If he succeeds, his maximum assessment shall be very good. -The applicant may return the courses in which he or she has received a c- or D- estimate - If the student fails the re-examination again, the assessment of failure is calculated only at the quarterly rate. - The approved hours for the curriculum the student is restudying due to failure or any other reason are counted as part of the number of hours required to graduate only once. - A student who has received an “incomplete” rating on a course must take an examination on that course no later than the end of the first week of the next term and not be considered to have dropped out on that course. -The evaluation system is as such and addressing the evaluation system requires learning about its approach, evaluating materials, overall assessment and announcing results Next: a. Evaluation approach: The student shall be continuously evaluated throughout the semester through written, scientific, oral, and entrusted research examinations, daily assignments, participation in discussions, attendance at courses and other evaluation methods to help him/her identify the level of achievement during the semester. He/she shall deal with his/her educational situation first .. The final estimate for each course consists of the quarterly business grade, which is allocated 60% of the course grade, and the end-of-class exam grade, which is allocated 40% of the grade. The final examination for each course shall be held once at the end of the semester. The examination shall be written or practical according to the nature of the course. It shall cover all parts of the curriculum. The exception to this project is where the competent board of the department decides on the appropriate method of evaluation, which shall be announced to the students at the commencement of work on the project. Students in the courses are evaluated as follows: -Passing the substance is considered with appreciation "C" -The passing grade in the subject is 60%, i.e., scores in other subjects that make the average student no less than 60%, otherwise he will be subject to the restricted burden and will not be allowed to postpone more than four subjects. - In the absence of the student, and with an excuse accepted by the head of the department in the final exam, and his achievement was not less than 36 degrees, the student's results are incomplete. The student commits to the test no later than the beginning of the first week in the next semester, otherwise he will be counted as withdrawing from the course. - The educational system in the Academy is characterized by a system of approved hours, which allows the student to avoid failing in the subject by opting for the optional withdrawal from the course after the approval of the teacher of the subject, and in light of the consultation of his academic counselor. All of this, of course, is conditional on the failure to attend the final test, for which 60% of the grade of the subject is assigned), if the quarterly achievement (40) does not preclude the student from receiving 60% of the total grade of the subject. - In general, a review of test results in past years by international bodies that granted the Academy a certificate of quality in education revealed that these results do not deviate from the established principles of success, failure and withdrawal rates, under what is known as the “Natural distribution curve”. - Overall assessment (GPA):- The student, by means of a so-called cumulative ratio, which is calculated for each semester, collects the points of material obtained by the student in all the courses he has taken up to the time of calculating that rate and divides them by the total of the approved hours recorded by the student up to that time. The overall estimates are as follows:- • 2.0 to less than 2.4 accepted • 2.4 to below 2.8 is good • 2.8 to below 3.4 is very good • 3.4. Excellent -Graduates of the Academy shall be awarded the rank of honor if they attain a cumulative rate at the end of the study of not less than 2.8%, provided that they do not account for 60% of any courses and that they have not failed a course. The Student Affairs Committee considers whether a student continues to study or alters his or her educational path if he or she has registered a two-term enrollment and has not achieved a quarterly average of at least 2.00. -Announcing results:- The results of the student's quarterly work are announced twice during the first semester, at the end of the eighth week, by means of a study report issued from the Admissions and Registration Department, and at the end of the twelfth week, by the specialized educational centers. - Scholarships: - In addition to the awarding of admission previously mentioned to those with a high school diploma, the Council has been granted the following training. Award of excellence: Students are granted scholarships to students during study, with one full scholarship per term per major for the highest cumulative rate, as well as rewards above the highest quarterly rate. - During examinations :- Exam irregularities include: -Disruption of the examination system or the calm required for it. -Attempting to cheat on the test. -.Cheating on the exam. -.Impersonate someone else to take the exam instead. -Disciplinary penalties-: • Canceling the student's grade in the exam where the violation occurred. • The student is denied the right to take exams for courses following the course where the offense occurred. • Cancel the student's examinations in all the courses where they are registered, and take grades or withdraw according to the violation. • Deprive the student of the opportunity to enroll for one or more semesters, even if the student is considered to have stopped enrolling • The final chapter of the Academy. - To seek commutation or lifting of the sentence:- A student who has been subject to a disciplinary sanction may file a petition on behalf of the President of the Academy within 15 days of the date of notification of the sanction decision, otherwise his right of appeal shall be forfeited.
