The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) has been shortlisted for the Times Higher Education (THE) Awards Arab World 2026 in the category of:

Research Project of the Year – Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences

This prestigious recognition celebrates a groundbreaking research project led by Prof. Nashwa Elyamany, Professor of Computational Linguistics and Associate Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at the College of Language and Communication, AASTMT. The project was made possible through the dedication, expertise, and collaborative efforts of an outstanding multidisciplinary research team.
