The College of Computing & Information (CCIT) offers aside from its normal tracks, a professional track that qualifies its students with the necessary professional knowledge and career advancement. Students are prepared by thorough and disciplined training and education to be ready for the practical life as professionals.

The tracks offered within the college are:


 Remote Sensing & Satellite Image Processing


The Professional Training curriculum is based on the latest technology of Remote Sensing and Satellite Image Processing. It focuses on applying practical work on various types of satellite images, by using one of the top specialized software, which is "ERDAS IMAGINE 2018". This software is produced by "Hexagon Geospatial", a well-known USA company specialized in this field. The curriculum will tackle 9 short courses representing most of the topics of the "Remote Sensing Specialist Certificate... RSS" offered by Brilliant Remote Sensing Labs Company. By the end of the courses, students will be able to apply all image processing steps needed to deal with a raw satellite image, until producing a final digital map representing any field such as Geology, Agriculture, Environment, Urban Planning, and many others.


 Introduction to Android Development


Understanding the Android development cycle with practical projects covering most needed topics.


 Data Science and Big Data Analytics


This course provides practical foundation level training that enables immediate and effective participation in big data and other analytics projects. It includes an introduction to big data and the Data Analytics Lifecycle to address business challenges that leverage big data. The course provides grounding in basic and advanced analytic methods and an introduction to big data analytics technology and tools, including MapReduce and Hadoop. Labs offer opportunities for students to understand how these methods and tools may be applied to real world business challenges by a practicing data scientist. The course takes an “Open”, or technology - neutral approach, and includes a final lab which addresses a big data analytics challenge by applying the concepts taught in the course in the context of the Data Analytics Lifecycle. The course prepares the student for the Proven™ Professional Data Scientist Associate (EEMCDSA) certification exam


 Cloud Application Developer


This course provides practical training that enables on Cloud Application Developer and has a proven student to build, run, deploy, and develop applications on a cloud development platform, using IBM Cloud. The course has demonstrated advanced proficiency on topics such as Cloud Computing, DevOps, REST Architecture, Watson APIs, Mobile App Development on IBM Cloud, Kinetise, Push Notification, Node.js, Express Framework, and Express Framework, and React.
