The Arab Academy and the Al-Masry sports Club sign a cooperation protocol to maximize mutual benefit and serve the local community

In a step towards promoting integration between academic and sporting institutions, His E.D. Ismail Abdel-Ghafar Ismail Faraj, President of the Arab Academy of Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, witnessed the signing ceremony of a cooperation protocol with the Al-Masry sports Club.
Mr. Dr. Mohamed Fahmy Shahada signed the cooperation protocol, and from the Egyptian club Al-Bursaidi, Mr. Rajab Abdul Qader, vice president of the club, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Khalf, the director of the sports departments of the academy.
This protocol aims to lay strong foundations for cooperation, benefiting from the prestigious position of the Egyptian club as an ancient national athletic authority, and what the Academy possesses from outstanding academic and research cadres in the fields of management, sports, and education.
Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel-Ghafar, the head of the academy, stated that this cooperation represents an opportunity to exchange experiences and resources, ensuring that the academy is always seeking to expand the bridges of cooperation with leading institutions to serve the local community.
He added: "This protocol will allow us to exchange the use of facilities available by both parties for future sporting activities, programmes and events, which benefits the club and the community alike." "
One of the highlights of the protocol is the agreement for the use of the Al-Masry sports Club of the stadium annexed to the academy's headquarters in Borvoid to hold first-team training for the club during the 2025/2026 football season. The move will boost the club’s readiness and provide an exceptional training environment for players.
