The Governor of PortSaid receives the President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport

 

His H.E. General Arkan Harbar / Mohab Habshi, Governor of portsaid, received today His H.E Dr. Ismail Abdel-Ghafar, President of the Arab Academy of Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, in his office in Diwan of the Governorate, in the framework of strengthening the mutual way of cooperation between the two sides.

Mr. Governor welcomed the visit of the President of the Academy, affirming his appreciation for the key role of the Academy in supporting the educational process and preparing qualified staff in various disciplines, which contributes to meeting the needs of the labor market and keeping up with technological developments.

The meeting also discussed a number of cooperation files between the governorate and the academy especially in the areas of training, rehabilitation and human resource development in the light of the state's direction towards developing the educational system and benefiting from advanced academic experiences.

On his part, Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel-Ghafar expressed his happiness to visit Pursaid Governorate, and assured that the academy will deepen cooperation with the Governorate in order to serve sustainable development efforts, and support the outstanding education and training career.
