
Yara Abdallah is a highly accomplished media professional specializing in major global sporting events. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Media Management from the College of Management and Technology (CMT) at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (2010–2015). Demonstrating her commitment to an international career, she participated in a dual-degree program with Brunel University London (2012–2013). Yara has built an elite portfolio within the international sports landscape, holding several high-profile roles: Global Media Infrastructure: Served as a Media Services Manager during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, overseeing critical infrastructure for the world's largest sporting event. International Tournaments: Acted as a FIFA Media Officer for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023™ and the FIFA Arab Cup 2021™ in Qatar. Media Hub & Press Operations: Served as the Media Hub Editor and Media Ticketing specialist for the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup in Saudi Arabia, and as the Venue Press Officer for the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium during the FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2021. Handball World Championship: Contributed to national success as the Assistant to the Chairman of the Communications & TV Broadcasting Committee for the 2021 Men’s Handball World Championship in Egypt. Recently recognized with the Graduate Award for Excellence 2024 by The Event School London, Yara continues to be a leading figure in sports media operations, most recently preparing for roles in major European tournaments.
