A native of Egypt, Dr. Abo Sree is recognized for his unwavering dedication to academic excellence and the practical application of engineering innovation. He solidified his expertise by earning a Master of Science (M.Sc.) from AASTMT in 2013, followed by a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the prestigious Ain Shams University in 2019. His academic foundation is firmly rooted in microwave technology, antenna design, and related fields within electrical and communication engineering. Dr. Abo Sree's primary research interest lies in the pioneering use of microwave (MW) technology and advanced antenna systems for the underground detection of valuable materials, including gold, iron, and other metals. This work significantly contributes to the advancement of ground-penetrating radar (GPR) systems, which are vital tools in mining operations, geological surveys, and archaeological exploration. His research enables more accurate detection and analysis of subsurface structures and resources. Beyond exploration, his research interests and contributions extend into crucial areas such as 5G communication technologies and biomedical applications. A prolific researcher, Dr. Abo Sree has authored and co-authored over 100 research papers published in leading international conferences and high-impact Q1 and Q2 journals. The significance of his work is reflected in over 659 citations, alongside an H-index of 16 and an i10-index of 26. Beyond his research output, Dr. Abo Sree is deeply committed to education and mentorship. He has supervised numerous graduation projects, Master's theses, and Ph.D. dissertations, guiding students effectively in applying theoretical knowledge to solve real-world challenges in fields like microwave engineering, underground detection systems, and modern communication technologies. Dr. Abo Sree is an active member of the global scientific community, contributing his expertise as a peer reviewer for esteemed journals such as IEEE Access and the PIER online journal. He also actively engages in international research collaborations.
