Dr. Ahmed Eid Awadallah is a lecturer at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), specifically within the College of International Transport & Logistics in Alexandria, Egypt. His academic focus is on transport sustainability, with particular expertise in airport sustainability, sustainable logistics, and supply chain performance. Dr Ahmed Eid earned his Ph.D. from the University of Maribor, Slovenia, in 2024, where he concentrated on logistics systems. He has contributed to several research publications, including studies on airport environmental behaviours and sustainability practices. For instance, his doctoral dissertation titled "Measurement and improvement of airports’ environmental behaviour: an empirical study from North African Countries (NAC)" addresses environmental challenges in airports, emphasising the role of human behaviour in environmental sustainability. Dr Ahmed Eid also teaches Air Transport Management and Freight Forwarding Business courses at AASTMT. His work bridges academic research and practical applications in transport and logistics.
