Sama Gad is currently the Vice Dean for Training and Community Service at the Graduate School of Business-Smart Village Campus at AASTMT. She used to be the Head of Educational Departments at the College of International Transport and Logistics-Smart Village Campus, AASTMT, and the Program Manager and Coordinator of the Higher FIATA Diploma in Supply Chain Management and FIATA Diploma in Freight Forwarding. She has extensive experience delivering professional programs in social sciences in general and supply chain management and logistics in particular. Dr. Gad is an Assistant Professor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), Egypt. She holds a Ph.D. in Operations and Supply Chain Management from the University of Hull, UK, an MSc in Virtual Supply Chain Management, and a BSc. in Logistics from AASTMT. She also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Research Training (PGCert) from the University of Hull. Dr. Gad is actively engaged with the academic and professional supply chain community through research, conferences, executive education, consultancy, and industry events. She has participated as a speaker and panelist in professional supply chain conferences and initiatives addressing the future of logistics, procurement, digital transformation, and supply chain leadership. Dr. Gad is also actively involved in academic publishing and serves as the associate editor of the International Business Logistics (IBL) Journal, contributing to the development and dissemination of research in logistics, supply chain management, and international business. With extensive academic and professional experience in logistics and supply chain management, Dr. Gad has been involved in teaching and developing undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional training education. Her academic and managerial experience includes program management, educational department leadership, professional certification programs, curriculum development, and academic quality and accreditation activities. She has also contributed to organizing and coordinating seminars, conferences, career fairs, professional events, and industry engagement activities.
