Sohair F. Rezeka received the B.Sc. degree from Alexandria University, Egypt and the M.Sc. and the PhD degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University, Detroit Michigan in 1976, 1980, and 1984, respectively. She is a professor of Mechanical Engineering in AlexandriaUniversity, Egypt and now she is on leave at Arab Academy for Science and Technology, Alexandria, Egypt. She taught a diversity of undergraduate and graduate courses. The list includes: Automatic Control,Intelligent Control Systems (Neural network , Fuzzy systems), Mechatronics, Electromechanical Systems, Dynamics and Vibrations, Principles of Mechanisms and Robotics, System Modeling and Simulations, Instrumentation and Experimentation, Machine Design, Synthesis of Mechanisms. She supervised and refereed more than 50 M.Sc. and Ph.D. thesis. Her professional interests include intelligent control systems for autonomous vehicles and HVAC systems, fault diagnostics and identification, modeling and simulation of dynamic systems and mechatronics.
