Ahmed started teaching International Logistics and Maritime with the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) in September 2008. He has a Bachelor of Maritime and International Logistics. He currently is in charge of the International Logistics graduate level program, reviews and s curriculum, develops various teaching aids and evaluations, and is an active campus committee member. While working with AASTMT he managed to complete his Masters degree, where he worked on Improving and Developing Shipping Lines. He also co-founded a non-profit organization aiming to help students understand their studies by presenting them instructors from the work-field rather than having only the academic perspective where he spends time in exploring new additions and possible ways to improve the Logistics spectrum given to his students. Ahmed is known for his strong background in the field of International Logistics, as a result he specializes in tutoring students about: Fleet Management, Risk Management, Freight Forwarding, and Cargo Handling. Ahmed's personal philosophy on education: “That every day is a learning day.”
