Ghada El-Kot is a professor in HR and OB at AAST-MT and Deputy President for Strategic Affairs. She has more than 30 years of experience as an effective international consultant, researcher, trainer, and reviewer in the HR and OB fields. She earned her Ph.D. from The University of Plymouth, UK in 2001 on Teamwork Effectiveness in Egypt and won the best PhD thesis. In 2011 she received an outstanding paper award for her research " Work Engagement among Managers and Professionals in Egypt: Potential Antecedents and Consequences”. In 2020, She received a highly recommended Paper Award for her research “Egyptian Women Supervisory Empowerment Behavior on Well-being Outcomes”. She was awarded the Senior Fellow from Advance Higher Education in the UK in 2024. She is Listed in Who’s Who in the World. She won the Exemplary Woman Mentor Award 2020, from the Women Leadership and Excellence Awards (WLEA). She won the Middle East's Women Leadership Award 2020, from World Women Leadership Congress and Awards. She is listed in the AD Scientific Index 2021; 2022,2023, and 2024. Listed the 2nd among African Top 100 HR researchers according to AD Scientific Index. She has published more than 50 papers in the HR and OB field in international peer-reviewed Journals and has also contributed book chapters and presented many papers at international conferences. She has been commissioned to undertake and lead many consultancy projects and training programs by organizations in Egypt, other Arab countries, and Europe. Much of the consultancy work is concerned in developing HR systems in Egyptian and Arab organizations. She served twice as a Judge Committee member in the 2022 Middle East & North Africa Stevie Awards in Human Resources Committee. In her University teaching role, she has supervised several successful Master's and Ph.D. students (15 as supervisors and 33 as internal and external examiners). Since 2004 Professor El-Kot has effectively performed several senior leadership and management roles at AAST-MT.
