Dr. Ali Allam is an Assistant Professor at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT). He started his academic career after obtaining his Bachelor's degree from AASTMT - Computer Science Department, in 2003 at the top of his classmates with a GPA of 3.99 – “Excellent with Honors”. He pursued his graduate studies in the same department and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science with a GPA of 3.96. He was then appointed at the Business Information Systems Department of AASTMT as an Assistant Lecturer, through which he continued working on his research in areas related to computer vision, web information retrieval, and natural language processing. He is also a professional member, author, and journal reviewer of several research entities, such as IEEE, ACM, and Elsevier.
