Dr. Sandra Haddad is an Associate Professor in Marketing and Supply Chain Management at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport - College of International Transport and Logistics. She is the Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research. She teaches Principles of Marketing, International Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Global Supply Chain Management, Customer Relationship Management, Distribution Channels, Chartering and Strategic Management in the BSc and Postgraduate programs of the Arab Academy for Science Technology and Maritime Transport. Dr. Haddad holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (major in marketing) and a postgraduate diploma from the School of Management - Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport. She obtained her MSc in Shipping Management from the World Maritime University in Malmoe, Sweden, and her Ph.D. in the Cross-functional Relationship between Marketing and Supply Chain Management from Liverpool John Moores University in the UK. Dr. Haddad was awarded the associate fellowship of the British Higher Education Academy (AFHEA) in 2013 and she is a certified Higher Fiata diploma and International Road Union (IRU) instructor. Moreover, Dr. Haddad works as a professional consultant for several businesses, in addition to managing several EU and US Aid projects. She is a professional presenter and keynote speaker at various local, regional, and international events, seminars, and conferences such as the SIL exhibition in Spain, African forums in Kenya and Egypt, final events, steering committee meetings of international projects. Dr. Haddad serves as a lead team member in the College of International Transport and Logistics (CITL) national and international accreditation processes (Egyptian NAQAA, the German FIBAA, and the American AACSB) as the Scientific Research Vice Dean. She is applying now as a volunteer in the AACSB peer review team as recommended by the accreditation visiting team for her leading role in the accreditation process. Haddad co-authored a number of publications in peer-reviewed WOS and Scopus-indexed journals and conferences, in addition to serving as a reviewer for a few journals and conferences. Dr. Sandra Haddad published a book titled “Cases on International Business Logistics in the Middle East” as a co-editor for IGI Global where she co-authored two chapters. She is also an associate editor and co-founder of the International Business Logistics ‘IBL’ journal which is indexed in a few databases and published by the Academy Publishing Center. Given her work and contribution to the Egyptian logistics sector, Dr. Haddad was appointed in 2023 as a board member of the board of directors of Canal Shipping Agencies Company, affiliated to the Holding Company for Land and Maritime Transport, Egyptian Ministry of Transport.
