Assoc. Prof. Mohamed Mostafa Eltaweel is a Senior IEEE member. He had received his M.Sc. degree in 2005 and Ph.D. degree in March 2012, both in Computer Science from the Faculty of Computers and Information, Helwan University, Egypt. He was a Postdoctoral fellow at VSB-Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic. Currently, he is the Head of Computer Science Department at College of Computing and Information Technology - Smart Village Campus, Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), Cairo, Egypt. Mohamed is a member of the Egyptian National ICT Committee, Academy of Scientific Research and Technology – ASRT. His main research interests are in the areas of Wireless Sensor Networks, Intelligent Healthcare Monitoring, Security, and Machine Learning. Dr. Mohamed is a certified Entrepreneurship Mentor from Wadhwani Foundation. He had published several papers in prestigious international journals, and conferences. Mohamed had written a number of chapters in specialized books. In addition, he currently co-supervises some Ph.D. students in Cardiff Metropolitan University in addition to leading and supervising various graduation projects within the academy. Moreover, he had participated as an information technology expert in a number conducted UNESCO workshops. Also, he is a reviewer, technical program committee member, local arrangement committee member, and special sessions co-chair.
