Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Mahdy has been working at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport since 2001 at the Faculty of Management and Technology. He has extensive experience in university administration and has progressed through several administrative positions, starting from secretarial roles, then serving as Office Manager of the Dean of the Faculty, and currently holding the position of Head of the Administrative Follow-up Department. He holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences from Ain Shams University. His doctoral dissertation addressed the application of Total Environmental Quality Management and its impact on enhancing competitive advantage in industrial organizations. He also holds a Master’s degree in Quality Management from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, which has been officially equated to a Master of Business Administration by the Supreme Council of Universities in Egypt. In addition to his administrative experience, Dr. Mahdy has teaching experience and serves as a part-time lecturer at Obour University for Science and Technology, where he teaches courses in Quality Management and Contemporary Issues. His academic and professional interests focus on quality management systems, environmental quality, institutional development, performance improvement, and quality assurance in higher education institutions.
