Nourane El-Hagar is a Teaching Assistant in the Media Department at the College of Language and Communication, Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT). She is a media educator, digital media researcher, presenter, and Master of Ceremonies with experience in media education, radio and television production, scriptwriting, interviewing, and public speaking. She holds an MA in Media Studies – Digital Media with a GPA of 4.0/4.0 and graduated first in her class with Excellent with Honors. Her academic and research interests include digital media, social media, political communication, cyberactivism, audience studies, and media effects.

Thesis: “Cyberactivism on Gaza War: The Impact of Exposure to Social Media Videos on Generation Z’s Perceptions and Responses.” The research employed an explanatory sequential mixed-methods design involving 500 Egyptian Generation Z survey respondents and seven digital media experts.

    Wrote and hosted the complete three-day programme of ELITES 2026, organised by Afak Events. Presented and moderated professional sessions in formal Arabic and English; prepared the event scripts; introduced speakers and panel discussions; and managed transitions throughout the three-day programme.
  • Presenter – Arab Youth Media Leaders’ Forum
    Hosted the opening session of the Arab Youth Media Leaders’ Forum, organised by the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports in 2023.
  • Radio Presenter & Scriptwriter – 101.1 FM
    Presented and wrote radio program episodes broadcast on 101.1 FM. One of the programs received First Place in the Five Seasons Radio Program Competition in 2020.
