Dr. Ahmed Elshaer is an Associate Professor at the College of Artificial Intelligence, Arab Academy for Science and Technology, where he leads pioneering research in smart measurement systems, IoT, and AI applications. He earned his Ph.D. from faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University in 2015, specializing in the development and optimization of smart sensor systems, following an M.Sc. from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology in 2009 focused on system modeling. With extensive expertise in the fabrication, simulation, and integration of advanced smart sensors, Dr. Elshaer is at the forefront of designing sensory systems tailored for IoT networks and AI-driven solutions. In addition to his work in sensing technologies, Dr. Elshaer has a keen interest in the development of next-generation energy storage devices, particularly supercapacitors for mobile robotics and other adaptive applications.
