Donia Adnan is an Assistant Lecturer in the Media Department at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AAST). She has been teaching various media courses since 2019 and holds a Master's degree (MA) in Digital Media and a dual Bachelor's degree in Media, awarded with honors. Her research interests lie in digital advertising, with a particular focus on how YouTube advertisements influence the purchasing behavior of young Egyptian women. She is also intrigued by the connection between Internet memes and political participation. She strives to enhance the learning experience for her students, fostering a passion for every aspect of the media industry. Alongside her academic role, she has mentored a group in the 1st edition of the mil debates, managed numerous student projects, freelanced as a copywriter, and gained experience in voice-over work for various projects.
