biography

- Dr. [Maha Montaser] is an accomplished academic and researcher with a Ph.D. in Oral Biology from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Alexandria, completed in September 2023. With a background in oral biology, Dr. [Maha Montaser] holds both a Master's degree and a B.Sc. in Dentistry from the same institution, where they have been actively involved in teaching and research since 2013. Currently a Lecturer of Oral Biology and Dental Morphology at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), Dr. [Maha Montaser] previously served as a Teaching Assistant at AASTMT and Pharos University. Their research has been published in notable journals such as the Alexandria Dental Journal and the British Dental Journal, with significant contributions to the understanding of remineralization in dental enamel and the effects of obesity on oral health. Dr. [Maha Montaser] is highly skilled in various aspects of oral biology, histology, and dental research and has participated in multiple professional development courses, including those focused on e-learning, teaching methods, and educational management. They are also proficient in multiple languages, including Arabic, English, French, and German. Outside academia, Dr. [Maha] is actively involved in leadership roles, having organized and led various student competitions and charitable activities. Their achievements include winning awards at the AIDC 2024 and EDD 2022 contributing to research on the effects of obesity on periodontal health. Through their work, Dr. [Maha] is dedicated to advancing knowledge in oral biology and improving oral health outcomes for individuals, particularly those affected by obesity.
