Dr. Essam Kosba received his BSc. in Computer Engineering from Alexandria University, Egypt in 1979 and his Master degree in Management Information System from Advanced Management Institute, Arab Academy for Science and Technology (AAST) in 1998, Egypt. He received his PhD degree from School of Computing, University of Leeds, UK in 2005. He has worked as an instructor in IT colleges in Jordan, as a programmer and systems analyst in AAST and in the Saudi Fund for Development, and as a senior training specialist in Saudi ARAMCO. He has worked also as the manager of AAST Information Centre, the Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and International Relations and as a lecturer in the College of Computing and Information Technology - AAST. Currently, he is the Dean for Admission and Registration in AAST. His research interests lie in the areas of Web-based intelligent tutoring systems, adaptive learning, and fuzzy student modelling.
