Dr Heba-t-Allah Badr Abd El-Wahab is an Assistant Professor of American Literature, Drama and Performance. She has held several key academic leadership roles and, currently, she is the Head of the Humanities Department at the College of Language and Communication (CLC) – Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) - Smart Village Branch, Egypt. As a staff member at Helwan University for over two decades, she earned both her MA and Ph.D Degrees in American Literature from the Department of English Language and Literature – Faculty of Arts – Helwan University, Egypt. Her scope of academic interest involves Drama and Performance, Literary criticism, Cultural studies, Interdisciplinary studies, language skills and English for specific purposes. She is also an accredited academic reviewer at the Q1 Scopus-Indexed Journal (IJAES), Jordan. In addition, she participated in numerous renowned national and international conferences and symposia and she has a number of publications in several recognized academic journals.
