An Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture Engineering and Environmental Design at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT), Smart Village Campus. He earned his Ph.D. in Urban Design, Social Sustainability, Community, and Regional Planning from Alexandria University in 2017, complemented by a Master’s degree (2014) and a Bachelor’s degree (2010) from AASTMT ,Dr. Elshafei possesses substantial expertise in sustainable urban planning, architectural design, and structural execution. His prior role as Head of Training Programs at the College of Engineering and Technology involved designing and overseeing numerous international workshops and training initiatives. At AASTMT, Dr. Elshafei is dedicated to enhancing research and education in urban design and sustainable development. His academic pursuits include teaching, conducting research, and providing consultancy, with a focus on developing innovative solutions to address contemporary urban challenges. His contributions to the field are reflected in his numerous publications, presentations at academic conferences, and collaborative projects.
