Yasser Farghaly is a professor of architecture and landscape at the Department of Architectural Engineering and Environmental Design - College of Engineering and Technology, Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport - Alexandria. He is a certified architect, participated and won prizes in many local and international design competitions in addition to participating as juror in many of the architectural competitions in the Gulf region. He also worked as head of Basic Design Unit in the University of Dammam - KSA during his sabbatical leave in 2009. Participated in many local and international conferences and has various experiences in different areas of education, accreditation and quality. He specializes in the development high-performing public landscapes. His teaching, research, and engagement efforts include the design, development, and study of sustainable urbanism, urban landscapes, public parks.
