Ahmed Hussein is an assistant professor in supply chain sustainability and sustainable performance, head of energy and petroleum logistics management departments, and vice dean for students affairs. He graduated from CITL in 2010. In 2014, he was awarded a master's degree in supply chain and logistics. He obtained his PhD from Duisburg-Essen University, Mechanical Engineering, Transport Systems, and Logistics, Germany. Ahmed worked in training programs for organizations and institutions such as Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA). He has supervised a list of master students in Germany and Egypt. In addition, he is one of the sustainability committee since 2019 at AASTMT. Finally, he has delivered many courses at the master level at different institutions.
