Khaled S. Abdallah is a professor of industrial engineering. He received his Bachelor of Production Engineering and Design from the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, ranked top of his class. He worked as a TA at Ain Shams Engineering and during his work he received a Master of Quality from the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, and a Master of Operations Research from the Institute of Statistics at Cairo University. He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, USA. He worked as an assistant professor at Ain Shams university before moving to the college of International Transport and Logistics at the Arab Academy of Sciences, Technology and Maritime Transport, where he held several positions such as head of logistics and supply chains department, vice dean for education and the vice dean for Graduate Studies and research. His contributions to the college include developing the supply chain department as a new and unique department in Egypt, involvement in several quality accreditation programs, and the development of an electronic program to manage the educational process. He worked as a visiting professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Has several contributions to national projects and numerous contributions to international scientific journals and conferences. He received funds from the Academy's Research Support Competition and TEMPUS for the establishment of a Master of Supply Chain in collaboration with 9 other universities.
