Maritime Lecturer and Maritime Security Consultant. I am currently serving as the Head of the Quality Assurance Unit at the Regional Maritime Security Institute (RMSI) and teaching at the College of Maritime Transport and Technology, AASTMT. My focus lies in security, risk assessment, and cyber security, covering courses approved by the International Maritime Organization (IMO). With a Master Mariner (Certificate of Competency) and an M.Sc. in International Transport and Logistics from AASTMT, I am now pursuing a Doctorate in Maritime Transport Technology, specializing in autonomous vessel risk assessment. My practical expertise involves active participation in assessing ships, ports, and facilities in Egypt, contributing to the development of robust security plans. I am deeply involved in academic activities, seminars, and workshops, and my publications reflect my keen interest in the latest maritime and technological developments, including AI, cybersecurity, etc.
