Dr. Magdy Ahmed Khalaf is an Associate Professor of Quality and Operations Management in the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), Egypt. He obtained his PhD Degree in Quality Management from AASTMT, Egypt, in 2011. He received his BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Alexandria University, Egypt, in 2000 and MSc in Quality Management from AASTMT, Egypt, in 2007. The main topic of his PhD study is the effect of lean manufacturing implementation on energy efficiency. In general, his area of expertise is quality management and operations management. This encompasses areas such as the assessment of management systems, restructuring organizational management systems, lean manufacturing implementation, and service quality.
