Biography

  • Dr. Omar Shalash is an assistant professor at the department of computer engineering. He received the B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the AASTMT, Alexandria, Egypt in 2010, and he earned his M.Sc. in 2013. He has received his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Strathclyde University, Scotland, in 2018. His PhD research work included design and development of autonomous robotic machine for knee arthroplasty.
    His research groups are currently working on joint projects related to developing a social platform for musicians with real-time jamming along with many other features and another project in which machine learning techniques are used to diagnose autistic children.
