AASTMT President Appreciation for AASTMT Family Members

H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) thanks and appreciates AASTMT Family Members for their outstanding role in supporting the nomination of the Arab countries that resulted in the membership of the following Arab countries in the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Executive Council for the years 2018 - 2019:
1. The United Arab Emirates - Membership of IMO Executive Council category "B".
2. The Arab Republic of Egypt - Membership of IMO Executive Council Category "C".
3. Kingdom of Morocco - Membership of IMO Executive Council Category "C".
Where IMO is one of the United Nations (UN) agencies that regulates the shipping industry worldwide, as it’s worth to mention that Egypt won the membership of IMO Executive Council (2016 - 2017) during the elections that was held in November 2015.
