The Meeting of the Regional Center for Disaster Risk Reduction

His Excellency, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Farghaly ,President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) had participated in the Regional Center for Disaster Risk Reduction meeting on Sunday, March 14, 2010, that was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, General President of the Meteorology and Environmental Protection at Saudi Arabia and a member of the Governing Council of the Regional Center for Disaster Risk Reduction, the Egyptian Minister of Environment, His Excellency Prof. Eng. Maged George, as well as Jordan Minister of Environment His Excellency Prof. Eng. Hazem Malhas and Tunisia Minister of Environment His Excellency Prof. Nadhir Hamada and Excellency Dr. Margareta Wahlstrom, the Special Representative of the United Nations and Assistant Secretary-General for Disaster Risk Reduction. Where during the meeting, they had elected His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Nasser as President of the regional Center for Disaster Risk Reduction, as well as His Excellency the Egyptian Minister of Environment Prof. Eng. Maged George as the Vice President.
