“Strategic Trends in Maritime Transport and Ports Industry” Workshop in Jordan

Under the auspices of H.E. Mr. Ayman Hatahet - Jordanian Minister of Transport and H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag – President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT), AASTMT Port Training Institute (PTI) and Jordan Shipping Association organized a workshop that started on Tuesday 26- 4- 2016, at Aqaba – Jordan, under the title “Strategic Trends in Maritime Transport and Ports Industry”.
As for AASTMT Port Training Institute future prospects for cooperation with Arab ports, a delegation from AASTMT had participated in the workshop where the proposals of strategic directions on shipping and port industry, its impact on the role and the activities of maritime agencies were discussed as well as how to develop the role of the shipping agent of port services.
