Accreditation

The Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) is a fully accredited member of both the Association of Arab Universities (AArU) and the International Association of Universities (IAU).

AASTMT was awarded the ISO 9001:2000 certificate for its educational processes in September 1999, after following formal quality assurance procedures to maintain the educational quality level received by students, which was last renewed in 2021.

Undergraduate programs offered by the College of Computing and Information Technology, Cairo Campus, are accredited by the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities (SCU). As well as Postgraduate programs offered by the College are accredited by the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities (SCU).

Two of the four programs offered by the College of Computing and Information Technology (Computer Science and Information Systems) are accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). The current accreditation is valid until 2025. While our Software Engineering program is currently following the ABET guidelines for future accreditation.
