He is a graduate of the Military Technical College (MTC) in Cairo in 1973, Motor Vehicle specialization. He received his Ph.D in the field of Industrial Engineering (Production major) from college of Engineering, Lehigh University, PA, USA in 1988. Since then, he’s been a member of the Production Engineering and Management Dept. in MTC. In 1999, he was appointed the Head of Dept. He had attended the Industrial Engineering Dept. in Alexandria, AAST during the period from 2000 till 2002 and to the Cairo branch, AAST till now. His experience includes teaching for more than 35 years different topics such as Production Engineering, Quality control, Metrology, Flexible Manufacturing systems, Operations Management, Engineering Economy, Statics, Design of Experiments amongst others. He has also supervised many theses and published papers in various disciplines. He has a wide technical and industrial experience, including design, manufacturing and implementation activities.
