biography

Dr. Hatem works as Dean of College of Fisheries and Aquaculture Technology of AASTMT. His research interests are fisheries Biology, stock assessment and fisheries Management of the dominant fish species in the Egyptian Mediterranean Sea and Red sea as well as the Non-Indigenous Species. He also involves in many strategic and action plans related to these fields and participates in many scientific local and international projects funded from FAO, EU and League of Arab States and the Egyptian government, beside his job in the fisheries education in Egypt. He also worked as chairman of various management and development committees under the supervision of the Egyptian general authority for fish resources development in Egypt (GAFRD).
