biography

Rana Bahaa El-Dabaa - رنا بهاء الضبع Rana El-Dabaa, RIBA Associate. Assistant professor at the department of Architecture and Environmental Design in Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport. Also, she is involved in various research projects. Rana's research includes several topics as developing passive motion mechanisms in adaptive façades using programmable and smart materials, computational design and parametric approaches to optimize building performance specially daylight and energy consumption.
